 Got a Goldenberry Question?

  • We’re glad you asked! Goldenberries are a superfruit with many health benefits to offer – more than almost any other fruit. They are a good source of vitamins A, B, C, Zinc, Calcium, Iron, and carotenoids (anti-oxidants). Goldenberries are bursting with healthy antioxidants with anti-inflammatory properties, and may lessen the effects of harmful cholesterol.

  • Goldenberries aren’t actually berries at all, they are a tropical fruit grown high in the Cloud Forests of the Andes Mountains. They have a sweet and also tart juicy tropical flavor ... think strawberry meets pineapple, with notes of mango and lemon. We call them “Mother Nature’s Sweet-Tart”

  • Yes. The berries are naturally sticky on the outside, and the flesh firm and slightly juicy – close to the texture of a giant blueberry or cherry. This is a natural, protective dap which is fine to eat, however we recommend washing any fruit prior to eating. For longer shelf life, your Goldenberries should be refrigerated.

  • For longer shelf life, Goldenberries should be refrigerated. They are high in vitamins A and C, and are a good source of thiamin, iron, niacin, and zinc.

  • Yes! Sustainability is very important to us. The container holding your fruit is made with 90% post consumer (recycled) food grade materials, and is 100% re-usable. The facility making this packing is 100% solar powered. Wash and re-use your clamshell, or remove the label and recycle (again).

  • Here are some fun ways you can incorporate goldenberries into your diet:

    • Enjoy them raw or sliced as a snack.

    • Add them to a fruit salad. They blend especially with blueberries, pineapple, and mango.

    • Sprinkle them on top of a savory salad.

    • Blend them into a smoothie – the mix especially well with vanilla shakes.

    • Dip them in chocolate sauce for dessert.

    • Turn them into a sauce to enjoy with a meal.

    • Make them into a jam.

    • Stir them into a grain salad.

    • Incorporate them into a cocktail, as a garnish and also crushed.

    • Use them as a great topping on yogurt or granola.

Goldenberries add a unique flavor to almost any dish or snack.
